We have recently changed our HVAC service provider to JACOB, from another company (who I will not name, because they were actually pretty good over the years). We contacted Jacob for a second estimate after our existing company recommended replacing our unit (it was working fine) due to age and deterioration.

We were with our previous company since 2016, and while our unit was in great running order, they were wonderful about keeping our AC “maintained” at a fair price. As the years went on, they started high pressure sales pitches to add features, upgrades and finally a whole new unit… (ours is now 13 years old, but running fine). When we told them we were going to get a few quotes before deciding, the other company went into high pressure mode with scare tactics, which we did NOT appreciate.

Alex from JACOB came out to offer a second quote for the cost of a new unit. He was about as low pressure as you get, and he instilled confidence. I didn’t feel under any pressure to buy a new unit and he presented great info on maintaining and replacing our unit. In fact, he agreed with us, that as long as it’s working fine, there is no urgent need to replace it. We liked their quote, and decided that if we did need to replace the whole unit, JACOB had the better quote.

My husband and I discussed everything, and we decided to change our maintenance plan to JACOB now, and when our unit finally “dies a natural death”, we will merely grab an updated quote and go with JACOB.

So we had our first maintenance appointment a few days ago with Jabin and Sam. They were prompt, professional, courteous and even offered some great tips to help maintain our unit. I think we made the right decision.

The quote was good and he delivered everything promised with no surprises. The workers Pablo, Sam, and Phil did an excellent job and were polite and cleaned up. Would highly recommend.

I was in need for a new A/C company to service my two air condition units, so I gave Jacob Heating & Air a call. They send their tech Areli within a couple days to assess the system and to establish service. Areli was not only very pleasant and kind but also very knowledgeable. He found a couple things that could have developed into major issues and took care of everything, including the maintenance on both units. He also found out that part of my ductwork in the attic of my house was very old and partially collapsed, so not all rooms got air. He quickly set up a follow up evaluation with Alex, where I got the estimate for the work within a day. Everybody I have been in contact with has been pleasant, efficient, and very timely.

John, Bryan, and Luis from Jacobs came out within a week, removed all the old ductwork, and installed brand new one. Now there is efficient airflow to all my rooms, including my late husband’s memorial sun room. Despite having to climb up two flights of stairs plus the ladder to the attic, everyone with very professional, competent, and super-nice. Thank you all so much!
