Technician Areli C was promptly on time for my 6 month maintenance service. Received text notification when he was in the area with ETA. He answered any questions I had regarding my air-conditioning unit. A + service.

Louis from Jacob's heating & air did a fine job replacing the coil in my AC unit. He is knowledgeable and professional in his work and pleasant to work with. I would recommend him to anyone needing service to their AC unit.

I can’t give enough kudos to Jacob Heating and Air. We had our AC have an issue Saturday night and were desperate to have someone try and fix it Sunday. I called in the morning and spoke with some amazing team members who I gave details and needed information to. And we got an awesome repairman in Areli. Great communicator. Kind. Outlined the cost. Gave great detail on the situation and what happened. And was able to make it on a Sunday! Truly can’t thank him and the whole Jacob team enough. You guys just made our day. And now I know more about the AC maintenance packages you guys have to use that too. 5-stars isn’t enough to say how fantastic the service was. I also want to give a shout-out to JJ, who came out tonight to drain our clogged AC line. He was a great example of amazing customer service. He explained the situation in tremendous detail and did a remarkable job.

We could NOT be MORE PLEASED and HAPPY with Jacob Heating & Air Conditioning. From the initial call to the service appointment, you feel these people care. They take pride in their company and work. Alicia (I do hope I spelled her name correct) was LOVELY and so nice on the phone. Erick and Ken were punctual, efficient, polite, professional, caring, knowledgeable, and prepared a well thought out plan of attack to get our unit back to functioning. They took their time to answer any and all questions. They were sympathetic to our worries and provided ongoing reassurance that this was the issue, how to solve it, and when it could be done. They even could do the work the next time by some miracle. And that is a miracle because we called 2 other companies who needed at least 4-5 days to accommodate the job. In Florida and summer time heat, that just is not going to do. Erick and Ken knew this and made it happen. We will only recommend this company for any and all AC needs. Thank you so much!!!

8/31/2026 Ken and Erick took care of my routine maintenance and did an excellent job. They were efficient, polite and got the job done. I have been a customer of Jacob for several years and have been happy with their service. I also tell my friends to use Jacob for their AC needs. JD and Pablo were excellent. They came as scheduled. They were professional and polite. They replaced my compressor and it is cooling down my home.

This review is long overdue because I don't work well with computers or the internet, so I had to corral my husband to have him to type this up for me. I'll start with "I trust Jacob Heating & Air Conditioning with all of my air conditioning needs". About 3 years ago, I had another AC company servicing my unit. They were the original installers of the unit back when my house was built in 2005. They were Ok for a while, then they decided to change the terms of my maintenance contract from 2 visits per year to 1 visit after I had already purchased it. I fought with them over the 2nd visit that I had prepaid and they basic told me, "Too bad!" We used that company for 8 years and they decided it would be better to dump me than provide service. I did not renew my maintenance contract but had to have them out to take a look at my compressor because my fan was not running. I figured it had to do with a condenser as had already happened twice before. This time though, the repair technician said my AC unit was bad and that they could install a new unit for just north of $20,000. I kindly said no and solicited help from the DeLand Neighbors FB page. Out of about 60 responses, 54 of them recommended Jacobs so I gave them a call. Turns out the technician, Ken, lives right across the street from my house. Ken reviewed my system, said it was in good shape, and did not have to be replaced, but did need a condenser. I purchased an annual maintenance contract with Jacob and Ken replaced my condenser. After one visit, I was convinced that this was the kind of business I wanted to support. A business highly recommended by the community, with excellent technicians, and fair pricing, you cannot do better than that! If you need an AC & Heating "partner", Call Jacob Heating and Air Conditioning FIRST! You will not be disappointed. Sorry, this took so long to post.
